CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach and James Herscot ’58 Coach of Excellence, Ted Minnis is no stranger to academic and athletic success.

The head coach of the 2016, 2017 and 2019 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Champion Crimson, Minnis rates as the all-time wins leader in school history for the sport of water polo.

Due in part to this level of success, the Crimson head coach is part of “Crimson Character” a video series featuring Harvard head coaches answering questions about their philosophy and thought process as leaders of their respective programs.

In this video, Minnis, along with Daria Schneider (men’s and women’s fencing) and Josh Shapiro (men’s soccer) discuss how they find and develop leaders.
