Hopkins' Sean McCreery Named 2007 Division III Player of the Year

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins University's Sean McCreery '08 (Pleasant Hill, Calif./De La Salle) earned his third Player of the Year award as he was recognized as the 2007 Division III Player of the Year.

A 2006 and 2007 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America first team selection, he helped lead Hopkins to a 16-15 record with a second place finish at the 2007 Southern Championships.

The second player in program history to earn First Team All-America honors three times, the 2006 and 2007 Player of the Year led the Blue Jays with 93 goals this season. He finished his career with 310 goals, ranking him fourth in program history. He also owns three of the top-four single season goal totals in JHU history. In his four seasons, the Blue Jays posted a 73-53 record with three Division III Eastern Championships.
