Indiana's Jakie Kohli Named March 30 Western Division Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Jakie Kohli (Fr., Burnaby, British Columbia/Moscrop Secondary) of Indiana University scored three goals, handed out seven assists and collected 10 steals in three games to earn the March 30 Western Division Rookie of the Week award.
The award marks the second straight week she earned the Rookie of the Week honor as she was previously recognized on March 23.
Facing No. 14 University of Michigan, University of Maryland and Sonoma State University last week at home in the Fluid Four Tournament, she led the No. 18-ranked Hoosiers to a 13-4 win over Sonoma State in which she finished with a career-high four assists to accompany four steals and a goal.
She chipped in a goal, an assist and four steals in a 7-6 loss to Michigan, and grabbed two steals with a goal and two assists in an 11-9 loss to Maryland.
On the year, Kohli has eight earned exclusions and 15 goals while leading the team in assists (25) and steals (49).
