BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins University goalie Chance Fowler (Fr., Lafayette, Calif./Campolindo) made the most of his first start between the pipes for the Blue Jays making 10 saves over three quarters of play in a 12-11 victory at Bucknell University to earn the October 18 Southern Division Rookie of the Week award.

Playing in his first significant minutes as a Blue Jay, he kept JHU in the game with an 11-8 lead as Jeremy Selbst (Sr., Old Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) came in to close out the contest to start the fourth period. 

Fowler added three steals and two assists as Hopkins now stands at 10-10 on the season, including a 2-3 mark in Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division action.
