NCAA Releases Men's Water Polo "Final Four" Bracket; St. Francis to Play USC in First Round

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Water Polo Committee announced today the four teams participating in the 2010 National Collegiate Men’s Water Polo Championship.  This year’s championship, hosted by the University of California, Berkeley, will be held December 4-5.

In the first game, Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) champion the University of Southern California (26-2) will play Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) champion St. Francis College (24-3).  The second game will match at-large selection the University of California (23-3) versus Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) champion Loyola Marymount University (19-8). 

Game times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Pacific time respectively on December 4.

The third-place game will be played at 1 p.m. Pacific time, December 5, with the championship game at 3 p.m. Pacific time. 

The national championship game will be streamed live on www.NCAA.com.

Conferences receiving automatic qualification included the:  Collegiate Water Polo Association, Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and the Western Water Polo Association.  The remaining team was selected at-large without geographical restrictions.

No complimentary tickets are permitted for NCAA championship competition. Tickets will be sold only as a two-day package until Saturday, December 4.  All seating is General Admission.  "Preferred Seating" tickets are available on a first come first served basis which will guarantee a seat at the mid-pool G.A. section.

*Seniors are considered age 65 and above.
*Youth are considered grade 12 and under.

All NCAA Tournament tickets are general admission.
