2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Championship Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Atlantic Division Championship the University of Virginia informed the league office during the mid-afternoon on Wednesday, November 5, of the team’s intent to not compete at the 2025 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship at the Carlisle Family YMCA on Friday-Sunday, November 7-9.

Due to Virginia electing to not attend the championship, the No. 5 position in the 16-team championship bracket is vacated with a team required to fill the open position.

In light of the availability of teams to attend the championship in consideration of the time frame, the position is filled by league rule at the discretion of the league Commissioner.

Due to Atlantic Division runner-up the United States Naval Academy being unable to immediately commit to attending the event, the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) awards the spot to a team capable of attending at the time of Virginia’s election to withdraw from competition.

Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech), the third place finisher at the Atlantic Division Championship held on Saturday-Sunday, November 1-2, at North Carolina State University, is able to commit to competing at the championship and is awarded the Atlantic Division’s position of No. 5 in the championship field.

The Hokies fill the No. 5 position with all over positions remaining unchanged from the previously posted schedule of games.
