BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of Southern California remains at No. 1 in the National Top 20, while Pomona-Pitzer College dislodges Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges from the lead position in the Division III Top 10 rankings as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the official 2025 Men’s Varsity National Top 20, Division III Top 10, Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Top Five and Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Top Five Polls for Week 11/November 12.
Defending MAWPC champion Fordham University remains at No. 1 in the MAWPC Top Five, while defending NWPC Champion Princeton University assumes the top spot in the NWPC Top Five.
Voted on by a panel of coaches, the polls are compiled and released on Wednesday during each week of the season through the week following the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship.
2025 Men’s Varsity National Top 20 (Week 11/November 12)
The University of Southern California maintains a narrow one-point lead over defending National Champion the University of California-Los Angeles in the Week 11/November 12 National Men’s Varsity Top 20 Poll.
USC (98 points) – which gained the lead position three weeks back – stays one point in front of UCLA (97 points) as the first six positions remain constant with Stanford University (90 points), the University of California (85 points), Fordham University (80 points) and University of the Pacific (74 points) retaining the No. 3-to-6 slots, respectively.
Long Beach State University (68 points) moves up to No. 7, the University of California-Davis (65 points) stays at No. 8, Pepperdine University (55 points) rises to No. 9 and San Jose State University (54 points) steps back to No. 10.
The University of California-Santa Barbara (48 points), Loyola Marymount University (45 points) and the University of California-San Diego (44 points) rearrange to stand at No. 11-to-13, respectively, with Princeton University (37 points), the University of California-Irvine (35 points), California Baptist University (26 points), Santa Clara University (21 points), Harvard University (15 points) and Brown University (10 points) rating at No. 14-to-19.
The final position is shared by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (4 points) and the United States Naval Academy (4 points) to wrap-up the Top 20.

2025 Men’s Varsity Division III Top 10 (Week 11/November 12)
Pomona-Pitzer Colleges retains the No. 1 spot in the Week 11/November 12 Men’s Varsity Division III Top 10 Poll.
The Sagehens (100 points) – which become a unanimous No. 1 pick this week – are followed by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (95 points) and Johns Hopkins University (84 points) as the Stags and Blue Jays break a tie at No. 2.
Whittier College (83 points) and the University of Redlands (82 points) exchange the No. 4 and 5 spots with California Lutheran University (74 points) continuing at No. 6.
Occidental College (72 points), Chapman University (68 points), Augustana College (49 points) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (35 points) wrap up the Week 11 rankings.

Princeton (99 points) – which knocked off Harvard (96 points) over the weekend to clinch the No. 1 seed for the NWPC Championship at Brown University on Friday-Sunday, November 21-23 – leads a Top Five which experiences changes throughout the rankings.
Brown (88 points) breaks a tie with Iona University (86 points) to assume sole control of the No. 3 position, while Iona and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (81 points) complete the Top Five.
