BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2024 Week 6/February 29 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
2024 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 (Week 6/February 29)
On a week which occurs only once every four years, the 2024 Week 6/February 29 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll experiences its own unique event as the top five teams in the country are separated by a single point – with three of the squads tied for the No. 1 position.
The trio of the University of California-San Diego (90 points), the University of Notre Dame (90 points) and California Polytechnic State University (90 points) top the Top 20 as the Tritons, Irish and Mustangs are squared at No. 1. Just off the pace are the University of California-Davis (89 points) and defending National Champion the University of Michigan (89 points) as the Aggies and Wolverines are within a single point of creating a five-way tie for the lead position in the Top 20.
The University of Southern California (67 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (65 points) and the University of Utah (60 points) rate at No. 6-to-8 with San Diego State University (55 points) and Texas A&M University (55 points) rounding out the Top 10 via a tie at No. 9.
Michigan State University (50 points), California Maritime Academy (42 points), Arizona State University (41 points), Oregon State University (30 points) and the University of Oregon (29 points) stand at No. 11-to-15, respectively, with the University of Florida (24 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (17 points), the University of Texas (16 points) and the United State Naval Academy (13 points) taking over at No. 16-to-19.
The final position in the Top 20 is shared by Pennsylvania State University (10 points) and Northeastern University (10 points).

2024 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 (Week 6/February 29)
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) continues at No. 1 in the 2024 Week 6/February 29 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III Top 10 Poll.
Tufts University (91 points), New York University (87 points), Middlebury College (86 points) and Washington University in St. Louis (83 points) complete the Top Five, while the University of California-Santa Cruz (77 points) moves up to No. 6.
Grinnell College (68 points), the United States Coast Guard Academy (55 points), Carleton College (51 points) and Williams College (35 points) complete the Top 10.
