  2. Johns Hopkins University
  3. Connecticut College
  4. Penn State Behrend
  5. Washington & Jefferson College
  6. Austin College
  7. Monmouth College

The 2019 edition of the championship will select the two qualifiers for the 2019 USA Water Polo Collegiate Division III Championship on December 7-8 at a site to be determined.  Created in conjunction between the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA), the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and USA Water Polo, the four-team Collegiate Division III Championship will pit two teams from the CWPA against two from the SCIAC at a site in California to determine the inaugural Division III National Champion.

For fans able to make the trip to Chartiers Valley High School, general admission ticket prices are $15 for a tournament pass and $10 for a one-day pass.  Senior citizens, along with W&J students, faculty and staff, will be admitted at discounted prices of $10 for a tournament pass and $5 for a day pass.  Children 12 and under will be admitted at no cost.

For fans unable to attend the Division III Eastern Championship in person, the CWPA will provide live, pay-per-view streaming of the event on CWPATV.com.  Streaming will be available at a cost of $10 per game or $25 for a weekend pass that covers all 10 contests.

In the history of the Division III Eastern tournament, Hopkins holds 17 Division III crowns (1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017) in 26 title games with losses in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2010, 2014 and 2018.  Hopkins did not compete in two Division III Championships as the Blue Jays’ missed the championship game in 2007 and 2016 by not attending the event. Nine-time champion MIT (1991, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018) will aim to remain on top in 2018, while W&J, Connecticut, Monmouth, Penn State Behrend and Austin all aim for their programs’ first championships.

Former varsity team Washington & Lee University defeated Johns Hopkins in 1992 and 1993 in the second and third Division III tournament for the only titles not held by either the Blue Jays or Engineers.
