Andrews converted on one-of-seven action shots and one-of-one man-up chances during the duration of the game as the Aussies held their own against the Greeks to exit the first quarter tied at one-all.  However, Greece began to pull away in the second quarter to acquire a 5-3 lead by halftime prior to seeing its margin chipped down to 6-5 by the conclusion of the third quarter.  Australia was unable to overcome Greece the rest of the way to fall by a single goal.

Due to the loss, Australia will return to the water at 4:00 a.m. Eastern/1:00 a.m. Pacific on Monday, July 21, against Japan – which fell by a 26-8 score to the United States in another quarterfinal – with a berth in the Fifth Place game on the line.  Italy will take on the Netherlands in the other Fifth-Eighth Place game.
