LEWISBURG, Pa. — The No. 15-ranked Princeton Tigers earned the No. 2 seed in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championship in two weeks at Brown University with a 10-5 takedown of the No. 18 Bucknell University Bison on the road in Kinney Natatorium.

No. 6 the University of Michigan will be the No. 1 seed, followed by Princeton, Bucknell, Harvard University, Brown University, George Washington University and Saint Francis University. The Tigers will play Saint Francis on Apil. 26 at 1:00p.m. The winner of that contest will take on the winner of Bucknell and George Washington on April 27 at 1:00 p.m.

Annie Robinson‘s tally with 59 seconds to go in the first quarter tied the contest at two-all as the two conference foes headed into the second frame. Bucknell registered the first tally of the stanza, but Princeton ran off three straight, taking a 5-3 margin into the intermission.

The Tigers kept the Bison at bay as they held the home unit without a goal for over nine minutes. Princeton had an 8-4 lead as the fourth quarter got started and didn’t let up, not allowing a tally for the final 7:06 of game action to secure the win.
