SANTA CLARA, Calif. — No. 20-ranked Brown University closed out play in the Bronco Invitational at Santa Clara University with a 13-9 win over California State University-Monterey Bay.
Ava Schoening and Alexandra Love led the way for the Bears with three goals each. Emmy Hensley and Aubrie Anderson both scored two goals.
Somto Okafo finished the game with six saves for Brown.
The Bears jumped out early, taking a 6-3 lead after the first quarter. Brown pushed its lead to 9-5 at the half.
Brown held on to the lead as the two teams score four times in the second half.
