SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The Penn State Behrend women’s water polo team fell to a pair of Tigers by dropping games to Salem University, 14-6, and host Wittenberg University, 15-14, during the Wittenberg Invitational.

Facing Division II Salem, Carson Hagood (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore Catholic) led the team with one field block, three steals, one goal and one assist. 

Lauren Wood (Vernon Hills, Ill./Vernon Hills) finished the game with two goals, while JoJo Gager (Holland, Mich./West Ottawa) chipped in two goals and four steals for the Lions.

Against Wittenberg, Clare Jefferys (Erie, Pa./Villa Maria), Alison McClure (Loveland, Ohio/Milford) and Wood each finished the game with three goals.

Jefferys also chipped in four assists while McClure had three.

Daniella Rios (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Sagrados Corazones) ended the game with two goals and four assists.

In goal, Mackensie Robie (Girard, Pa./Girard) tallied six saves and a steal.
