LORETTO, Pa. — The Saint Francis University water polo team proudly announced the addition of center Morgan Whipple.

Whipple hails from Altamonte Springs, Fla., and plays for Lake Brantley High School as a four-year varsity member. A multi-sport athlete, Whipple also held a spot on the varsity soccer team. She has participated in the 2017 and 2018 Orlando United Winter Camp. Her Lake Brantley squad made the 2016 State Championship Quarterfinals, were 2016 Regional Champions, and 2015-2017 District Champions. Whipple has played five seasons with the Southwest Premiere Water Polo Club.

On the scoring side, Whipple was the third leading scorer during her junior campaign. Exhibiting quality leadership, she was recently named captain for the forthcoming senior season.

Coach O’Neil on Whipple: “We are very excited to have Morgan join the Red Flash Family! Morgan brings with her great experience and energy. Her enthusiasm and work ethic will help her transition to the college level quickly. Her high polo IQ and ball handling skills will help her compete right away for playing time.”
