BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of Missouri informed the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) league office that they will not attend the 2019 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division Championship at Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday-Sunday, October 12-13. Due to the absence of Missouri, the league revises championship schedule to a four-time round robin format to determine the division champion and automatic qualifier for the 2019 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Pittsburgh on Friday-Sunday, November 15-17.
Featuring Lindenwood University “A”, Lindenwood Universty “B”, McKendree University and the host Bears of Washington, the tournament will span six games over two days.
On Saturday, October 12, Lindenwood “B” will take on Washington at 11:15 a.m. prior to Lindenwood “A” clashing with McKendree (3:45 p.m.) and Washington (6:00 p.m.). Day one concludes at 7:15 p.m. when Lindenwood “B” and McKendree take to the water.
Sunday, October 13, brings the final two games as Lindenwood “A” and Lindenwood “B” meet at 9:00 a.m. prior to McKendree and Washington squaring off at 10:15 a.m.
The win-loss records from the games will determine the final placement with head-to-head and goal differential implemented to break ties.
