2019 Rocky Mountain Division Women’s Schedule
Rocky Mountain Division Schedule Notes
Teams are scheduled to play every divisional opponent once and three opponents a second time during the regular season. The additional games are selected randomly. Teams are seeded for championship based on the regular season won/loss record to determine winning percentage.
The Rocky Mountain Division Championship is being held at the University of Denver on Easter Weekend due to scheduling issues and pool availability. Games will take place on Friday evening and Saturday.
As of February 1st, Utah State University confirmed they are not able to field a full roster for the entire season and will only be able to participate the first weekend at the University of Utah. However, the University of New Mexico is switching into the Rocky Mountain Division due to travel concerns if they stayed in the Southwest Division. New Mexico is only able to participate the second regional weekend and championship. They will fill in the games for Utah State on the second weekend and participate in the championship. The division will need to vote to determine in the first four games not played by New Mexico will be considered forfeits or if standing will be determined by a won/loss percentage.
As of February 6th, the schedule has been revised as Utah State University has decided not to participate as an exhibition team during the first weekend of competition hosted by the University of Utah. Additionally, the University of Colorado is unable to travel due to numbers. Division teams will need to decide if they will accept those games as forfeits or no contests.
As of February 26th, the schedule has been confirmed at the US Air Force Academy. Games will be played in the main natatorium pool located in the Cadet Gymnasium (signs will be posted to direct teams).
