*University of Florida “B” claims the No. 4 seed due to defeating Emory University 11-9 OT in a head-to-head meeting; ^The University of Alabama claims the No. 6 seed due to goal differential among common opponents compared to the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Georgia Tech fell to the University of Florida “A” (20-1 L), Emory University (14-3 L), University of Florida “B” (13-7 L) and Florida State University (15-6 L) for a -45 goal differential. Alabama lost to Florida “A” (21-5 L), Emory (12-11 L), Florida “B” (12-6 L) and Florida State (16-6 L) for a -33 differential to earn the spot. The results of the first weekend are not considered as Alabama forfeited all of its games at Florida State, while Georgia Tech did not compete (along with Emory University) due to snow & ice in the Atlanta metro region.
