NCAA & Collegiate Club Rules Test

Both the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) require officials to pass a rules test to be eligible to officiate.

Note, there are differences on how officials must handle taking the test(s) to be eligible to call either varsity or collegiate club games. In either case, the test(s) is open book and meant to evaluate the official’s competency of the current NCAA Water Polo Rules and Interpretations.

COLLEGIATE CLUB:

Officials wishing to call CWPA Collegiate Club Games during either the men’s and/or women’s seasons must pass the rules test linked below. CWPA Varsity Officials must complete the NCAA Rules Test through RQ+ as required by the NCAA Rules Committee (see Varsity tab). The below test is approved for use of the CWPA and should not be utilized by outside groups without written permission of the CWPA staff.

Officials should contact office@collegiatewaterpolo.org if you do not receive your results within 72 hours of submitting your test.
