BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Elizabeth Lipps (Sr., Menlo Park, Calif./Menlo Atherton) of the University of Washington posted 15 assists, 10 steals and 55 saves, including three stops on a trio of five-meter attempts, in 112 minutes of work at the University of California-Davis Invitational to collect accolades as the February 5 Women’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division Player of the Week.
She notched 14 saves in a 14-3 victory over California State University-Chico to accompany a nine save effort in a 13-4 victory over the University of California-San Diego. Facing the host Aggies, Lipps tacked on 15 more stops in a 9-3 defeat of UC-Davis “B” in addition to 17 saves in a 10-3 setback against UC-Davis “A”.
Further, her passing skills led directly to 15 goals as the Huskies outscored their opponents by a 39-20 differential.
