2022 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces the declaration of the United States Military Academy as the 2022 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division Champion following the cancellation of the championship at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., on Saturday-Sunday, October 22-23, due to a facility issue.
On Thursday, October 20, the league office was notified at approximately 2:30 p.m. of a facility issue at RPI. A pool pump broke down and can not be repaired in time for the championship tournament. Due to this – combined with the lack of an alternative site – the New York Division Championship defaults to the regular season order of finish with Army claiming the division title and berth to the 2022 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship at a site in the Northwest Division on Friday-Sunday, November 11-13.
