Johns Hopkins University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology & Connecticut College are eligible to win the Division III Eastern Championship and earn the Collegiate Water Polo Association/Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference/Northeast Water Polo Conference berth to the 2024 USA Water Polo Division III Championship with the champion and runner-up from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) along with the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation-East Champion. Austin College and Washington & Jefferson College – both members of the MPSF – are competing in games that have no bearing on the Division III Eastern Championship. The Johns Hopkins-George Washington University game is a Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) contest and has no impact upon the Division III Eastern Championship.
