Penn State Behrend to Provide Live Streaming Coverage of 2017 Behrend Invitational on February 25-26

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend Office of Athletics Communications will supply free, live-streaming coverage of the 13-game Behrend Invitational at the Junker Center on Saturday-Sunday, February 25-26.

Broadcast through BoxCast, the tournament will feature five games on Saturday, February 25, and four contests on Sunday, February 26, as Gannon University and Mercyhurst University of the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA), La Salle University and Villanova Universty of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) join Washington & Jefferson College and the host Behrend Lions of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III ranks.

Competition begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, as Penn State Behrend welcomes crosstown foe Gannon.  Villanova-vs.-Mercyhurst (10:30 a.m.), La Salle-vs.-Washington & Jefferson (Noon), La Salle-vs.-Gannon (3:00 p.m.) and Mercyhurst-vs.-Washington & Jefferson (4:30 p.m.) conclude the opening day’s slate of action.  In addition, two games aganst the collegiate club team from Lindenwood University will take place as Villanova (1:30 p.m.) and La Salle (6:30 p.m.) will take on the Lions.

Sunday, February 26, begins at 9:00 a.m. with Villanova-vs.-Gannon prior to Penn State Behrend-vs.-La Salle (Noon), Gannon-vs.-Washington & Jefferson (3:00 p.m.) and Penn State Behrend-vs.-Mercyhurst (4:30 p.m.) wrapping up the weekend. Similar to Saturday, Lindenwood will compete in a pair of games as the Lions face Washington & Jefferson (10:30 a.m.) and Mercyhurst (1:30 p.m.).
