BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jordan Cox (Sr., Arnold, Md./Severn School) of Carnegie Mellon University recorded 12 goals, six assists and 11 steals with a field block in a 3-1 weekend for the Tartans at Pennsylvania State University’s McCoy Natatorium on the opening weekend of league play to earn recognition as the February 13 Women’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Co-Player of the Week.
She helped CMU defeat Ohio University (20-9 W), West Chester University (16-4 W) and the University of Pennsylvania (15-11 W OT) to accompany a 16-6 loss to the University of Pittsburgh.
Cox shares Player of the Week honors with Renee Chin Lee (Sr., Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago/St. Joseph’s Convent) who tallied 22 goals and nine steals in a 2-2 weekend for the Quakers.
