BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Parker Strickman (Fr., Plantation, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) of the University of Florida recorded eight goals, 10 assists and a trio of field blocks in 77 minutes of playing time to lead the Gators to the Florida Division Championship and claim the group’s October 30 Men’s Collegiate Club Player of the Week award.
Competing at Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, Fla. for the Florida Division Championship hosted by the University of Central Florida (UCF), Florida rolled over UCF “B” by a 14-1 score prior to upending Florida State University via a 15-6 count in the semifinals.
Clashing with the Central Florida “A” team for the division title and an automatic berth to the 2017 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship at Florida State on Friday-Sunday, November 10-11, the Gators claimed a 13-2 win.
