2018 Midwest Division Women’s Schedule
Midwest Division Schedule Notes
Teams are scheduled to play every divisional opponent once during the regular season. Teams play in two of the three regional weekends. All teams attend the championship. Teams are seeded for championship based on the regular season won/loss record.
Calvin College will play exhibition games during the weekend of February 3rd at Hudsonville High School. These games will not count towards division standings.

Due to Illinois State University, Washington University in St. Louis and Miami University (Ohio) all finishing 3-5, the tie is broken per league rules, “If more than two teams are tied in won/loss records, goal differentials among the teams tied serves as the tiebreaker to determine the best team within the group until only two teams remain.” As Washington defeated Miami (11-6 W) and fell to Cincinnati (9-6 L) for a +2 goal differential – compared to -1 differentials for Miami (11-6 L vs. Washington, 8-4 W vs. Cincinnati) and Cincinnati (9-6 W vs. Washington, 8-4 L vs. Miami), Washington claims the No. 5 seed. The tiebreaker then reverts back to head-to-head with Miami taking the No. 6 seed due to its 8-4 win over Cincinnati; Due to Miami (Ohio), Saint Louis University and Wittenberg University not fielding full teams at the championship and forfeiting all their games, the trio do not earn final placement in the division standings; As Calvin did not compete during the regular season, the team does not earn a regular season placement.
