2019 Princeton University Women’s Water Polo Schedule
PRINCETON, N.J. — The Princeton University Tigers have released their 2019 women’s water polo schedule.
For the second straight season, Princeton starts its season at the Arizona State University Invitational (February 1-2). The Tigers take on the host Sun Devils, along with Azusa Pacific University, the University of California-Santa-Barbara and California State University-Monterey Bay.
A week later, the Princeton Invitational comes to DeNunzio Pool as the Tigers welcome Iona College and St. Francis Brooklyn College (February 9). After a meeting at Villanova University (February 16) and at LaSalle University (February 22), head coach Derek Ellingson‘s group takes part in the Marist Invitational (Feb. 23-24) to complete the month of February.
March opens with the Crimson Invitational (March 2-3) where the Tigers get Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) action started versus host Harvard University and also play the University of California-Davis, California Baptist University and the University of Toronto.
The first home CWPA contest is against George Washington University on March 9. The Tigers head west for the Loyola Marymount University Invitational (March 15-16) and then match up versus San Diego State University (March 19), Concordia University (March 20) and Long Beach State University (March 21).
The home portion of the schedule concludes against Wagner College on March 30. The Tigers travel to Harvard for neutral sites matchups versus Saint Francis University (April 6) and the University of Michigan (April 7). Princeton finishes the 2019 regular season against Brown University (April 13) and Bucknell University (April 14) before the CWPA Championship (April 26-28) at Brown.
