2020 Harvard University Women’s Water Polo Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard University women’s water polo team has released its 2020 schedule. The Crimson will compete in 24 matches during the regular season before heading to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. for the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 24-26.

The Crimson will begin its season at home on Jauary. 25 with matches against Villanova University and Iona College. Harvard will then see action against Whittier College and Wagner College at Brown University during the Bruno Classic on February 2. The following week, the Crimson will face Long Island University, St. Francis College Brooklyn (N.Y.), Saint Francis University (Pa.) and Wagner at the Bucknell University Invitational on February 8-9. Harvard will continue its stretch of road games at Princeton University with contests against San Diego State University, St. Francis Brooklyn and Wagner on February 15-16.

The Crimson will return home to host the Harvard Invitational on March 7-8, participating in matches against LIU, Marist College and California State University-East Bay. Harvard then heads out west to California for the Aztec Invitational on March 14-15 hosted by San Diego State University. At the Aztec Invite, the Crimson will see action against California State University-Northridge, the University of Hawaii, Long Beach State University and the University of California-San Diego. At Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on March 17, Harvard will face the host Sagehens and Whittier to end its California road trip.

The Crimson opens up CWPA conference play with back-to-back matches at Princeton on April 4-5 before closing out the regular season at Brown on April 11 and 18. The CWPA Conference Championship will take place in Ann Arbor, Mich. on April 24-26 with the victory earning an automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship.
