Great Lakes Division Schedule Notes
PLEASE NOTE: There is a chance that Washington University in St. Louis can host the championship. If not, the qualification for the respective National Championships (Division III/National Collegiate Club) will be based on regular season win/loss records with the fifth best team qualifying for the National Invitational Championship.
PLEASE NOTE: All schools in this division are requiring either vaccinations for their students or weekly testing.
Spectators will be permitted at the two Notre Dame tournaments. Listed below are the specific guidelines while on campus.
- Our policy for visiting club sport teams is the expectation that the visiting team has achieved an 85% or greater vaccination rate among participants.
- Indoor competitions will require participants to wear face-coverings when not directly participating in the competition, such as on the sidelines and public areas. Visiting teams will be limited to the immediate area of competition and associated facilities, and not allowed to mingle in common areas of campus.
- Food will not be able to be consumed indoors in the competition area by visiting teams. Visitors must abide by posted building policies specific to buildings across campus.
University of Notre Dame Spectator Policy:
- Spectators will be permitted to attend athletic competitions on campus. Visitors are welcome on campus, subject to any public health protocols in effect at the time of their visit.
- Visitors are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated, and regardless of vaccination status, must wear masks indoors and inside campus buildings at all times.
- Food may not be consumed indoors, and is not allowed for spectators in the competition facility.
SCHEDULE REVISION: Due to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Miami University (Ohio) being unable to attend the weekend of September 25-26 at the University of Notre Dame, the weekend schedule is adjusted (September 22)
SCHEDULE REVISION: Miami University (Ohio) informed the league of the program’s intent to not compete during the 2021 season (October 1)
SCHEDULE REVISION: The University of Notre Dame elected not to compete at the Great Lakes Division Championship. The division membership voted 3-1-1 to permit Loyola University (Chicago) to compete at the championship as the No. 6 seed with the remaining teams seeded based on their order of finish during the regular season. Game times for the championship on Saturday, October 23, are adjusted to a 12:30 p.m. start time.
