BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Carson Williams (Jr., San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente) of San Diego State University “A” netted five goals during a 3-1 weekend for the Aztecs during the final weekend of Men’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division competition hosted by Arizona State University on Saturday-Sunday, October 12-13. For his performance, Williams earns the division’s October 14 Player of the Week award.
Competing at ASU in Tempe, Ariz., Williams scored once against the host Sun Devils “A” team (10-9 W), did not factor versus Northern Arizona University (18-2 W), chipped in a solo marker taking on the University of California-Irvine (13-5 W) and pumped in a hat-trick with three strikes facing the University of California-San Diego “A” (20-8 L) as SDSU “A” clinched the No. 2 seed for the Southwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 26-27, at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.
