BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Princeton University rising sophomore Ádám Peocz (Fr., Budapest, Hungary) will compete with the Hungary U20 National Team at the 2025 U20 World Aquatics Water Polo Championship on June 14-21 in Zagreb, Croatia.

Opening competition is divided into six groups as Hungary will compete in Group A with the United States, Croatia and Montenegro.  Group B (Greece, Serbia, Italy, Spain), Group C (Brazil, Germany, South Africa), Group D (Kazakhstan, Islamic Republic of Iran, New Zealand), Group D (Colombia, Argentina, Australia) and Group F (Canada, China, Singapore) will also vie for the U20 World Championship.

He recorded 28 goals with 35 helpers, 21 drawn ejections and 10 steals in 29 games with 13 starts for the 2024 Northeast Water Polo (NWPC) Champion Tigers.

Prior to Princeton, he won the Junior Hungarian Cup and Tiber Benedek Memorial Cup, a Junior Hungarian Championship silver medal, a Senior Hungarian Championship bronze medal, a Hungarian Championship silver medal as a member of the Hungarian National Team.
