BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Augustana College will conduct a charity duck toss at halftime of the Vikings’ 5:30 p.m. game versus Penn State Behrend at the Anne Greve Lund Natatorium on Friday, April 11, during the first day of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Championship.

Fans can purchase rubber ducks on site for $2 (maximum of five ducks can be purchased by an individual) and are afforded an approximately 60-second window to toss their duck/ducks toward the target to win a prize.

The money raised will be donated to Hand in Hand, a charity in the Quad Cities which empowers children and adults of all abilities to learn and grow by providing accessible programs and supporting families. The organization serves both people with disabilities and people without disabilities, all in programs that let participants learn and grow together.  Hand in Hand is the only organization in the Quad Cities that offers accessible programs for people of all abilities from ages six weeks old through adulthood.

Hand in Hand offers child care, school age care along many evening and weekend recreation programs that provide respite for families, an adult Dayhab program, After School Club, and camp. The group serves Bettendorf, Davenport, and the surrounding Quad Cities area (both on the Iowa and Illinois sides).
