BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Brown University men’s water polo assistant coach Jake Ehrhardt is among a roster of 15 United States athletes selected for competition at the upcoming 2025 World Aquatics World Championships set for July 11-24 in Singapore, the Republic of Singapore. Only 14 athletes will be eligible for each match and they will be determined prior to each game day.

A native of Camarillo, Calif., and a graduate of Oaks Christian High School, Ehrhardt finished his career at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2022 as the sixth all-time leading scorer for the Trojans while being named a record five-time Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-America selection. Ehrhardt helped his team to a National Championship in 2018 and three other appearances in the National Championship game. He was also named a Peter Cutino Award Finalist as one of the top-three players in the NCAA.

In national competition, Ehrhardt was the Team USA Captain in the 2019 FINA World U20 Championship and the 2019 Final World University Games. He was a member of the USA Water Polo Men’s Senior National Team from 2016-22.

He returned to the water earlier this year to help Team USA claim Eighth Place at the World Aquatics Men’s World Cup Division 1 Tournament on January 6-12 in Bucharest, Romania. The United States defeated Japan (19-17 W, January 6) and host Romania (10-7 W, January 7), but dropped contests versus Montenegro (15-7 L, January 10), Croatia (15-6 L, January 11) and Georgia (17-12 L, January 12).  Ehrhardt accounted for pairs of goals versus both Romania and Georgia.
