BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Freshman Andu Vlasceanu (Bucharest, Romania/Liceul Teoretic “Nicolae Lorga” Bucuresti) of No. 10-ranked Bucknell University tallied two goals with an assist and a steal during a 15-9 loss to No. 2 the University of Southern California at University of the Pacific on Thursday, December 5, during the 2019 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship semifinals to earn recognition as the December 9 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Rookie of the Week.
The award marks the fifth Rookie of the Week nod for Vlasceanu following previous recognition on September 9, November 4, November 18 and November 25.
