Knowledge in the following areas is preferred: Microsoft Office, athletic video and performance review software (i.e. Hudl, Synergy), social media, recruiting software (Frontrush). A valid driver’s license is also required; candidate must meet required insurance qualifications found in Wittenberg Motor Pool policies and procedures.
Travel is required as well as some evening, night, and weekend work.

Additional Information:
This position, available beginning Fall 2021 will require weekend and evening work, including team travel. Compensation for this position will be offered as tuition remission and a competitive stipend. Required:
- Must have played and coached water polo.
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training with a college-level program.
- May need to maintain NCAA certified recruiter status. May need to maintain CPR / AED and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational and team leadership skills to work effectively with athletic participants. Ability to demonstrate creativity, sound judgment and decision-making;, be an effective problem solver and effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Specialized knowledge of the team sport or activity and demonstrated technical expertise in coaching principles. Leadership skills to mentor and develop athletes. Current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the affiliated athletic conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), as well as other associations and agencies to which the campus adheres, and, at all times avoid any and all violations of these rules and standards.
Preferred:
- Fluent knowledge of Croatian, Serbian, and Montenegrin languages NCAA collegiate playing experience. USA Water Polo certified referee experience High school Head Coaching experience. Five years coaching youth club water polo experience.
Special Conditions Required:
- Must be willing to travel. Must be willing to work nights, weekends per sport season.
