2019 Midwest Division Women’s Schedule
Midwest Division Schedule Notes
Due to schools’ conflicts with specific competition dates, all but one team will not play every opponent in the division. The remaining eight teams will play one opponent twice within their region which is randomly drawn. Again, this is based on team’s availability during the selected league competition weekends. A vote by the division will determine how the two games against the same opponent will count. Either both games will count or the two games against the same opponent will count as one game in the standing. In this case, the winner between those two teams will be determined by the point differential of the two games. Teams are seeded for championship based on the regular season won/loss record.
During the weekend of March 2nd-3rd hosted by Miami University (OH), the time between league games will be used for additional invitational matches. This is also hosted by Miami University (OH) to help defray the cost of the pool rental.Â
As of Wednesday, March 27th, the schedule for the weekend of March 30-31st (hosted by Lindenwood), has been revised due to St. Louis University not being able to participate. Saint Louis contacted the host and league office explaining their team would only be comprised to 2-3 players due to a number of players not able to participate. Teams scheduled to play Saint Louis University will receive a forfeit win and will play an exhibition game to ensure four games on the weekend. All games are now being played on the hour. Please be sure to review the schedule closely as the game order and game times have been revised (note: no team is starting an earlier than their original first scheduled game time).
SCHEDULE REVISED: As of Tuesday, April 2nd, the championship schedule at University of Notre Dame has been revised to an eight team format as Saint Louis University will not be attending. Please be sure to review the schedule closely as game times, as well as the order of some advancement games, have been revised. Several teams will be starting 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled.Â
