2022 North Atlantic Division Women’s Schedule
CHANGE (March 2): Competition on Saturday-Sunday, March 5-6, moves from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, to Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. All games at Bates on March 5 will utilize seven-minute quarters with overtime and a normal allotment of timeouts. Games on March 6 will utilize six-minute quarters, no overtime with teams limited to one timeout per half.
The schedule at Bowdoin on Saturday-Sunday, April 9-10, is adjusted. All games at Bowdoin will utilize six-minute quarters, no overtime with teams limited to one timeout per half.
Due to Bowdoin, Yale and Coast Guard not competing on the March 5-6 weekend, seeding for the championship will be conducted based on winning percentage.
On March 14, the teams voted to combine the North Atlantic and New England Divisions. The top four from each division will head to Boston College and the bottom four to Middlebury College. Since not all of the teams attended every tournament, league rules in these instances use won/loss percentage to determine seeding.
Note (April 12): Due to Bowdoin College electing not to compete at the New England/North Atlantic “B” Championship hosted by Middlebury College, the schedule is revised as of April 12.

*Due to an uneven number of games and no head-to-head competition, the tie for the No. 4 spot in the standings between the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Tufts University is broken by goal differential among all common opponents. Since Bowdoin forfeited to Coast Guard, that game is removed from consideration leaving three opponents (Bates College, Wellesley College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Coast Guard defeated Wellesley (14-5 W) and lost to Bates (8-7 L) and MIT (16-6 L) for a -2 differential, while Tufts defeated Bates (15-9 W) and Wellesley (5-1 W) with a loss to MIT (13-5 L) for a +2 differential; ^Since Bowdoin College forefeited games, the lose the tiebreaker Wellesley College for the No. 7 position; %Middlebury College, MIT and Yale University all split against one another with Middlebury claiming a 10-7 win versus Yale and a 7-6 loss to MIT, MIT taking a 7-6 win versus Middlebury and a 10-8 loss to Yale and Yale earning a 10-8 win versus MIT and a 10-7 loss to Middlebury. As winning percentage was the decided medium to determine standings, Yale claims the No. 3 position due to a .750 percentage from a 3-1 record compared to MIT and Middlebury’s .875 from 7-1 marks. MIT earns the No. 1 seed due to a 7-6 defeat of Middlebury; $Middlebury College elects to remain at home for the weekend of April 23-24 as MIT, Yale, Tufts & Coast Guard advance to Boston College; !Bowdoin College withdrew from the North Atlantic Division and will not attend the New England/North Atlantic “B” Championship as of April 12.
