*The Ohio State University “A” claims the No. 4 seed due to a 12-7 head-to-head win versus the University of Iowa; ^The Ohio State University “B” takes the No. 7 seed due to goal differential versus common opponents compared to Purdue University. Ohio State “B” lost to the University of Michigan “A” (20-5 L, 20-5 L – averaged to -15), Michigan State University (15-10 L), the University of Iowa (10-6 L) and the University of Wisconsin (15-11 L) while defeating the University of Illinois (9-8 W OT) for a -27 differential. Purdue lost to Michigan “A” (15-1 L), Michigan State (15-2 L), Illinois (11-6 L) and Wisconsin (9-3 L) to go along with splitting versus Iowa (9-5 L, 10-8 L – averaged to -2) for a -40 differential.
