Atlantic Division Schedule Notes

NOTE: Game times are tentative as of August 28

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: The top two teams from each regional will qualify for the Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic “A” Championship at Villanova University/University of Pennsylvania on either October 23-24 or 30-31.  The remaining teams will qualify for the “B” Championships

NOTE: Game times on September 24-25 at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington are adjusted as of September 7.  The September 24-25 weekend at James Madison University is moved to October 8-9 as of September 7.

NOTE: The schedule on October 8-9 at James Madison University is adjusted due to Georgetown University being unable to compete during the weekend.

NOTE: The Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic “B” Division Championship schedule is revised as of September 13. Scheduled for Saturday-Sunday, October 22-23, at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa., the championship features the No. 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 seeds from the Atlantic Division along with the No. 5, 6 and 7 seeds from the Mid-Atlantic Division competing in a 12-game championship.  Game times for the weekend are adjusted and will now begin at 11:15 a.m. on both October 22 and 23.

NOTE: The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill informed the league office on September 20 of the program’s intent to not compete during the 2022 season.  The Atlantic Division and Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic Division Championship schedules are updated accordingly.

NOTE: The Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic “B” Championship schedule on Saturday-Sunday, October 22-23, is revised due to the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill electing not to compete in 2022 and dropping the Atlantic Division membership to eight teams. 

NOTE: As of September 29, the October 8-9 weekend at James Madison University is canceled.

NOTE: The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill will compete in four exhibition games on the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, October 15-16, at North Carolina State University.

NOTE: The Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic “B” Championship schedule on October 22-23 at Drexel University is revamped as of September 30.

NOTE: The Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic “A” Championship on October 22-23 moves exclusively to Villanova University as of September 30 with a revamped schedule.

NOTE: The Atlantic Division is seeded for the Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic “A” and “B” Championships based on an alternating pattern between the North and South Regions.  A random draw occurred which seeded the North No. 1 team as the Atlantic No. 1 with the other North teams receiving the No. 3, 5 and 7 positions.  The South Region teams receive the No. 2, 4, 6 and 8 spots from the Atlantic Division.

NOTE: Carnegie Mellon University and the University of North Carolina-Wilmington elected on October 19 to not compete at the Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic “B” Championship on October 22-23 at Drexel University.  The schedule is revised to a five-team format.

NOTE: Pennsylvania State University “B” did not appear for the Atlantic/Mid-Atlantic Division “B” Championship causing the schedule to be revised as of October 22.  The schedule has been revised to a single round robin format to guarantee everyone three games and establish an order of finish.

Teams are seeded according to won/loss records during the regular season.
Teams listed first wear dark caps and are home on the scoreboard. Host team always wears dark caps and is listed first on the scoreboard regardless of seed.
