2025 Atlantic Division Men’s Schedule

Atlantic Division Schedule Notes

NOTE: Games on Saturday-Sunday, September 20-21 at the University of Maryland will use five-minute quarters with neither overtime nor timeouts.  Games at James Madison University are tentative pending confirmation JMU can host and a date.  Game times for the Atlantic Division Championship on November 1-2 at North Carolina State University are tentative (August 29)

NOTE: All Atlantic Division games during the regular season (at the University of Maryland and the University of Virginia) will use five-minute quarters with neither overtime nor timeouts.  Games at the Atlantic Division Championship will use six-minute quarters with one team timeout per half and sudden death overtime.  Game times for the championship are also revised (September 4)

NOTE: The second regular season tournament moves from James Madison University to the University of Virginia and is set for Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5.  Due to limited pool time, six of the nine teams in the division will receive three games at Virginia (as Georgetown University-vs.-the University of North Carolina, the United States Naval Academy-vs.-Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland-vs.-Duke University will not be contested during the weekend).  A random draw was held to determine the six teams.  Due to an uneven number of regular season games for the teams, seeding for the Atlantic Division Championship will occur based on win/loss percentage (September 4)

NOTE: The schedule at the University of Virginia tournament on Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5, is adjusted due to minimized pool time as of October 1.  The schedule of games changes to 14 contests as the North Carolina State University-vs.-University of Virginia games is canceled (October 2)

NOTE: Due to Georgetown University not appearing to compete at the final regular season tournament, the team is suspended for the remainder of the 2025 season and entirety of the 2026 season.  Due to Georgetown’s dismissal and the United States Naval Academy potentially being unable to compete at the championship due to the federal government shutdown, the league office released two versions of the championship schedule for the weekend of November 1-2 depending on Navy’s availability (October 28)

NOTE: The United States Naval Academy informed the league office on October 29 of the team’s intent to compete at the Atlantic Division Championship.  Games on Saturday, November 1, will use six-minute quarters with one timeout per team per half and sudden death overtime (October 29)

NOTE:The University of Virginia informed the league during the afternoon of Wednesday, November 5, of the teams’s intent to not compete at the Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 7-9.  Virginia Tech is awarded the Atlantic Division position due to the United States Naval Academy being unable to commit on short notice in light of the athletes’ military commitments (November 5)
