Missouri Valley Division Schedule Notes

NOTE: Games on Sunday, September 21, at Iowa State University will use five-minute quarters with neither timeouts nor overtime.  Games on Saturday, October 4, at Iowa State will use five-minute quarters with neither timeouts nor overtime.  Game on Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, October 5, will use regulation rules.

NOTE: The University of Chicago is added to the league schedule as of September 26.  The October 4-5 weekend at Iowa State University is adjusted and the division championship expands to a five-team event.  Seeding for the championship will occur based on winning percentage due to Chicago not contesting a full season of games (September 26)

NOTE:  Due to the addition of Chicago, games on Saturday, October 4, at Iowa State will use six-minute quarters with sudden death overtime and teams limited to one timeout per half.  Game on Saturday, October 5, will use five-minute quarters with neither timeouts nor overtime (September 26)

*The tie among Illinois State University, the University of Chicago and Washington University in St. Louis – which all finished with .250 winning percentages – is broken per league rules.  Washington is eliminated due to forfeiting games and is awarded the No. 5 seed.  The tie between Illinois State and Chicago is broken by head-to-head competition as Illinois State won 11-10.
