2024 Sierra Pacific Division Men’s Schedule
Sierra Pacific Division Notes:
NOTE: Games on Saturday, October 19, at the Sierra Pacific Division Championship hosted by California Maritime Academy will use six-minute quarters with sudden death overtime. Games on Sunday, October 20, will utilize normal rules (seven-minute quarters, overtime, etc.).
NOTE: The University of Nevada-Reno withdrew from the Sierra Pacific Division as of Wednesday, October 2. The regular season and championship schedules are redone for a nine-team division. Games on the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, October 12-13, at California Maritime Academy will now use six-minute quarters with no overtime and teams limited to one timeout per half. Game during the championship weekend of October 19-20 at Cal Maritime will use regulation collegiate club rules (seven minute quarters, timeouts, overtime, etc.)

 *Due to the University of San Francisco and California Maritime Academy tying in their lone meeting – and both teams having no other common opponents – the No. 1 seed is awarded based on goal differential versus opponents. Since San Francisco has a +24 differential compared to Cal Maritime’s +14, the No. 1 seed is awarded to San Francisco; The No. 2-to-4 seeds are awarded based on head-to-head matchups and goal differential. Since the University of California lost to the University of California-Davis by an 11-9 score, California is eliminated from the tie-breaker and take the No. 4 seed. The No. 3 seed is determined by UC-Davis and CSU-Chico’s goal differential versus their only common opponent – the University of California-Santa Cruz – with Chico earning the No. 3 seed by having a better goal differential (10-6 W vs. 8-6 W); ^Stanford University takes the No. 6 seed due to goal differential with their only common opponent compared to the University of California-Santa Cruz – California State University. Stanford lost to Chico 10-8 (-2) and UC-Santa Cruz lost 10-6 (-4); !The No. 8 seed is earned by San Jose State University as SJSU lost to the University of California (18-7 L) and the University of San Francisco (17-11 L) for a -17 goal differential, while California State University-Monterey Bay lost to California (21-2 L) and San Francisco (21-5 L) for a -35 differential.
