2019 Southwest Division Men’s Schedule
Southwest Division Schedule Notes
The division’s competitive format is comprised of two regular season tournaments and the championship weekend where all teams attend all three events. During the regular season, teams play every opponent once and one opponent a second time which is randomly selected. It was determined that when a team plays another team twice during the regular season, the first match will be considered exhibition while the second match will count towards their league record. This was discussed due to an interest in fairness when drawing the random selection of the additional games and incorporated during the 2018-19 school year. Membership voted to maintain this rule for the 2019-20 season.
As of Monday, August 26th, the hours for both regional events at UC Irvine and University of Arizona are tentative times until confirmed. Additionally, the championship site will take place in San Diego at either Univ. of CA, San Diego or San Diego State University. This depends on pool availability and hours.
Please Note: As of Wednesday, September 25th, the Southwest Division Championship has been moved to the weekend of November 2-3rd at San Diego State University.
