WATERVILLE, Maine — Colby College recently opened the Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center.
The $200 million and 350,000 square foot facility serves as a resource for the entire campus, as well as athletes in Waterville, the state of Maine, and New England. Highlights of the complex include the state’s only Myrtha, Olympic-sized pool, an indoor competition center with a 200-meter track, a regulation ice arena and a multi-level, 13,500-square-foot fitness area.
