2023 Men’s Collegiate Club Heartland Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Men’s Collegiate Club Heartland Division schedule.
Comprised of Augustana College, Carleton College, Grinnell College, Knox College, Macalester College and Saint Olaf College, the division will contest its 24th season in the CWPA. Historically, Macalester (1999, 2000, 2005, 2006), Grinnell (2001, 2004, 2007, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022), Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (2002, 2003), Augustana (2014, 2017) and former club/varsity program Monmouth College (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012) have claimed the prior 23 crowns. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Action commences on Saturday-Sunday, September 23-24, at Grinnell in Grinnell, Iowa, as the teams clash in 12 games. The regular season comes to a close on Saturday-Sunday, September 30-October 1, at Augustana in Rock Island, Ill., as the squads square-off in another 12-game weekend to establish the final seeds for the division championship.
The results from the pair of regular season tournaments establish the seeds for the nine-game Heartland Division Championship set for Saturday-Sunday, October 21-22, at Macalester in St. Paul, Minn.
