BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 4/October 12 Polls.
Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for either the National Collegiate Club Championship or the Division III Collegiate Club Championship.
2023 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 4)
2022 Men’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of California-San Diego remains at No. 1 spot as the Tritons top the Week 4/October 12 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 rankings for the 2023 season.
UC-San Diego (96 points) leads a Top 20 which experiences significant shifts through the fourth week of men’s collegiate club competition.
California Polytechnic State University (95 points) falls one point shy of tying UC-San Diego for the top spot as the Mustangs move up to No. 2. Previously unranked California State University-Chico breaks into the Top 20 at No. 3, while Dartmouth College (85 points), the University of Michigan (85 points) and San Diego State University (59 points) move up to No. 4-to-6, respectively.
Florida International University (56 points) and the University of California (56 points) tie at No. 7 with the University of Texas (55 points) and Boston College (53 points) rounding out the Top 10.
The University of Florida (46 points), the United States Military Academy (44 points) and Michigan State University (41 points) rate at No. 11-to-13 with the University of Oregon and the University of California-Los Angeles (36 points) tied at No. 14.
Previously unranked the Georgia Institute of Technology (34 points) comes in at No. 16 with McKendree University (26 points), Washington University in St. Louis (16 points), the University of Colorado (9 points) and the University of Utah (6 points) completing the Top 20.
The 2023 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship will be decided at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center on Friday-Sunday, November 10-12.

2023 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 4)
The 2023 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Poll remains mostly unchanged in the Week 4/October 12 edition with Washington University in St. Louis staying at No. 1.
A seven-time Division III Collegiate Club National Champion, Washington (97 points) stays in front of New York University (94 points), Carnegie Mellon University (91 points) and Augustana College (85 points).
Tufts University (77 points) and Macalester College (77 points) are tied at No. 5 with the United States Coast Guard Academy (67 points), Bowdoin College (55 points), Amherst College (50 points) and Wesleyan University (47 points) rounding out the Top 10.
