BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 6/October 26 Polls.

Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for either the National Collegiate Club Championship or the Division III Collegiate Club Championship.

2023 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 6)

2022 Men’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of California-San Diego gains more company at No. 1 as the University of California joins the Tritons and California Polytechnic State University in sharing the Week 6/October 26 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 rankings’ top spot.

UC-San Diego (95 points), California (95 points) and Cal Poly (95 points) lead a Top 20 in which again experiences radical shifts as the division seasons draws to a close.

The University of California-Los Angeles (79 points) moves up five places to No. 4, while the University of Michigan (77 points) and California State University-Chico (77 points) rise three and seven spots, respectively, to tie at No. 5.

The University of California-Santa Barbara (75 points), Dartmouth College (58 points), the University of Florida (54 points) and Washington University in St. Louis (41 points) wrap-up the Top 10.

Arizona State University (40 points) takes over at No. 11 with the trio of the University of California-Irvine (37 points), San Diego State University (37 points) and the University of Oregon (37 points) tying at No. 12.

Michigan State University (34 points), the University of Texas (30 points), McKendree University (20 points) and the United States Military Academy (20 points) rate at No. 15-to-18 with Baylor University (14 points) and Stanford University (14 points) completing the Top 20 by tying at No. 19.

The 2023 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship will be decided at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center on Friday-Sunday, November 10-12.

2023 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 6)

The 2023 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Poll experiences significant shifts again week behind Washington University in St. Louis which stays at No. 1 in the Week 6/October 26 voting.

A seven-time Division III Collegiate Club National Champion, Washington (100 points) remains a unanimous No. 1 pick.

Macalester College (88 points) – which was tied with Carnegie Mellon University at No. 2 last week – is now equaled by Tufts University (88 points) and the University of California-Santa Cruz (88 points) as the trio are tied for the runner-up position.

Carnegie Mellon (85 points) drops back to No. 5 with New York University (74 points), Augustana College (71 points), Bowdoin College (49 points), the United States Coast Guard Academy (39 points) and Colby College (37 points) completing the Top 10.
