BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Week 11/April 20 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
2023 Women’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 11/April 20)
Defending Women’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of California acquires sole custody of the No. 1 position as the Golden Bears lead the 2023 Week 11/April 20 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll.
California (95 points) – which shared top billing in the Week 5, 6 7, 8, 9 and 10 polls with either the University of Michigan and/or the University of California-Los Angeles – holds a two point lead over Michigan (93 points) as the Wolverines move up to No. 2. UCLA (92 points) – which was tied with California at No. 1 in the Week 8, 9 and 10 polls – falls back to No. 3.
Arizona State University (90 points) remains at No. 4 with Texas A&M University (76 points) and the University of California-Santa Barbara (76 points) tying at No. 5. The University of California-San Diego (68 points), Midwest Division Champion the University of Notre Dame (66 points) and San Diego State University (59 points) hang on at No. 7-to-9, respectively, while Boston University (56 points) and California Polytechnic State University (50 points) exchange the No. 10 and 11 slots.
Southeast Division Champion Florida State University (40 points) hangs on at No. 12 with the University of California-Davis (39 points) and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) (37 points) trading the No. 13 and 14 positions.
The University of Washington (31 points) retains the No. 15 berth, while Michigan State University (22 points) and Mid-Atlantic Division Champion West Chester University (14 points) reposition to take over at No. 16 and 17, respectively.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (12 points), the University of California-Santa Cruz (10 points) and the University of Oregon (8 points) enter the Top 20 at No. 18-to-20.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology takes over at No. 1 in the 2023 Week 11/April 20 Division III Top 10 poll.
The Engineers (94 points) edge out previously top-ranked Washington University in St. Louis (93 points) and the University of California-Santa Cruz (93 points) as the Bears and Banana Slugs fall and rise into a tie at No. 2.
Tuts University (90 points) drops back two places to No. 4 with the United States Coast Guard Academy (74 points) rising to No. 5.
Grinnell College (73 points), Middlebury College (72 points), New York University (71 points), Carleton College (47 points) and Saint Olaf College (34 points) complete the Top 10.
