BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2024 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 3/October 3 Polls.
Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for either the National Collegiate Club Championship or the Division III Collegiate Club Championship.
2024 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 3/October 3)
The University of California – which was tied with defending Men’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of California-San Diego at No. 1 last week – gains a new partner for the top spot as the Golden Bears and the University of Florida tie at No. 1 in the Week 3/October 3 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Poll.
California (92 points) and Florida (92 points) hold a narrow lead over UC-San Diego (91 points) and the University of California-Los Angeles (91 points) as the Tritons and Bruins both stand within one point of creating a four-way tie for the lead position in the National Top 20 poll.
San Diego State University (75 points), the University of Michigan (74 points), the University of Virginia (64 points), Washington University in St. Louis (63 points), California Polytechnic State University (59 points) and Pennsylvania State University (58 points) complete the Top 10.
Michigan State University (57 points) falls back to No. 11 with the University of Texas (51 points) and the University of Colorado (35 points) climbing to No. 12 and 13, respectively. The United States Military Academy (34 points) remains at No. 14, the University of California-Santa Barbara (27 points) inches back to No. 15 and previously unranked the University of Vermont (18 points) cracks the Top 20 at No. 16.
Boston University (8 points), the University of Oregon (10 points) and Baylor University (8 points) rate at No. 17-to-19 with the University of California-Irvine (6 points) and Texas A&M University (6 points) tying at No. 20.

2024 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 3/October 3)
Washington University in St. Louis remains at No. 1 in the 2024 Week 3/October 3 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Poll.
A seven-time Division III Collegiate Club National Champion, Washington (98 points) holds a two-point lead over runner-up Augustana College (96 points) and a 10-point margin compared to No. 3 the University of California-Santa Cruz (88 points).
Tufts University (87 points) stays at No. 4 with the United States Coast Guard Academy (80 points) moving up to No. 5.
Amherst College (75 points) and New York University (70 points) retain the No. 6 and 7 spots in the Top 10, while Bowdoin College (61 points) and Carnegie Mellon University (61 points) are tied at No. 8.
Bates College (60 points) completes the Week 3 rankings.
