2025 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division schedule.
Columbia University, Cornell University, New York University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University, the United States Coast Guard Academy and the United States Military Academy will compete in the division this year as the grouping contests its 30th season of competition in 2024.
Historically, the New York Division has been captured by Army (1995, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024), the Rochester Institute of Technology (1996), the University of Rochester (1996), Cornell (2000, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2021), Colgate University (2003, 2005), the United States Merchant Marine Academy (2004), Columbia (2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015) and NYU (2007). The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A pair of regular season tournaments are slated as RPI in Troy, N.Y., hosts 14 games on Saturday-Sunday, September 20-21, while Army in West Point, N.Y., is the site of 14 games on Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5.
Note that games at RPI will utilize five-minute quarters with neither overtime nor timeouts, while competition at Army will occur in two pools. Game times for the entirety of the New York Division schedule are tentative as of August 21.
The New York Division Championship is currently slated for Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, at Columbia in New York, N.Y., with the victor of the weekend earning the group’s automatic berth to the 2025 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on November 7-9 at a site to be determined.
