BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 1/September 18 Polls.

Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for the National Collegiate Club Championship.

2025 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 1/September 18)

Due to limited competition last week, defending National Champion the University of California-San Diego stays at No. 1 in the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Week 1/September 18 Poll 

The Tritons (100 points) lead a Top 20 which experiences no changes from the2024 Final Poll and the 2025 Preseason Poll with California Maritime Academy (95 points), California Polytechnic State University (90 points), the University of California (83 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (81 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (75 points), the University of California-Davis (70 points), San Diego State University (65 points), Boston University (60 points), the University of Virginia (55 points), the University of Florida (50 points), Texas A&M University (45 points), Washington University in St. Louis (40 points), the University of Colorado (35 points) and the University of Oregon (25 points) rating at No. 2-to-16, respectively.

The University of Michigan (12 points), Michigan State University (12 points) and the United States Military Academy (12 points) are tied at No. 17, while the University of Texas (8 points) completes the Top 20 by retaining the final position.

2025 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 1/September 18)

Washington University in St. Louis stays at No. 1 in the Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Week 1/September 18 Poll.

The Bears (98 points) hold a two-point lead over the University of California-Santa Cruz (96 points) for the lead position in the rankings with Tufts University (91 points), Augustana College (83 points), the United States Coast Guard Academy (79 points), Amherst College (78 points), New York University (69 points), Bowdoin College (65 points), Colby College (59 points) and Middlebury College (46 points) rounding out the Top 10.
